Overview
This document presents the Secretariat management response to the Independent Evaluation of the Green Climate Fund’s Investment Framework undertaken by the Independent Evaluation Unit (IEU). The evaluation recommends changes to the Investment Framework’s structure, operationalisation and alignment with results management and risk management frameworks. The Secretariat is already undertaking actions within its control to improve the operationalisation of the Investment Framework and stands ready to support the Board in any steps to streamline the Investment Framework to better promote impact, country ownership and appropriate risk management in GCF investments.
