Overview
At its October 2013 meeting, the Board considered a number of documents on the Fund’s business model framework, including the document on countries’ transparent no‐objection procedure (document GCF/B.05/06) and decided to request the Secretariat to revise this document for consideration at its February 2014 meeting.
Taking into account the guidance provided by the Board, this document presents three elements: a no‐objection procedure for approval by the Board, best practices for the establishment and composition of national designated authorities (NDAs) and focal points, and best‐practice options for country coordination and multi‐stakeholder engagement.
