Sean Ko

Sean has over 27 years of experience in the finance industry. Prior to joining GCF, Sean led the Global Markets business at ANZ (Australia New Zealand) Banking Group in Korea, where his responsibilities included Balance Sheet Management, Rates and FX Trading, and Financial and Corporate Sales. Before ANZ, he was Country Head of Barclays Bank plc, Korea and he held a various leadership position at J.P. Morgan, Samsung and Barclays in Hong Kong and Korea. In these roles, he managed a broad range of financial products, balance sheet management, and the overall global markets business, including alternative investments and complex structured products. He graduated honors from University of Rochester, NY with BS in Applied Mathematics and MS in Mathematics. He also served as Chairman of the board for Teach For Korea (TFK), a non-profit organization supporting an underprivileged high school students in their pursuit of educational equity.
