The Green Climate Fund (GCF) will hold its 45th Board meeting (B.45) in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, from 29 June to 2 July 2026 — the first GCF Board meeting to be hosted by a Central Asian country.

The Board will consider a slate of new climate projects for approval, alongside accreditation proposals for new GCF implementing partners.

Other items on the agenda include arrangements for the third formal replenishment of the Fund (GCF-3), GCF's updated gender action plan 2026-2031, and evaluations by GCF's Independent Evaluation Unit that cover the Project Preparation Facility, GCF's approach to gender, and the Third Performance Review of GCF.

Participants, including observers from civil society and private sector organisations, National Designated Authorities (NDAs), Accredited Entities, and other partners who support delivering climate finance to developing countries, will attend the B.45 meeting.

The four-day meeting is live-streamed on the GCF website. For more information and to follow the proceedings, visit the GCF website or follow #GCFB45 on GCF's social media channels.
