The Green Climate Fund (GCF) will hold its 46th Board meeting (B.46) at its headquarters in Songdo, Incheon, Republic of Korea, next week, from 26 to 29 October 2026, less than two weeks before COP31 gets underway in Antalya, Türkiye.

The Board will consider a slate of new climate projects for approval, covering both adaptation and mitigation across all regions where GCF operates, alongside accreditation proposals for new GCF implementing partners.

Other items on the Board’s agenda include proposed policies related to GCF’s third replenishment fundraising cycle, a new harmonised framework for measuring and reporting results, and emerging findings from the Independent Evaluation Unit’s Third Performance Review of GCF.

Participants, including observers from civil society and private-sector organisations, National Designated Authorities (NDAs), Accredited Entities, and other partners supporting the delivery of climate finance to developing countries, will attend the four-day meeting, which will be livestreamed on the GCF website.
