Virtual dialogue on the GCF Third Updated Strategic Plan (USP-3)

As GCF embarks on the development of its third Updated Strategic Plan for 2028–2031, this dialogue forms part of a series of consultations with Private and International Accredited Entities (AEs) and Gender/Women-focused organizations aimed at ensuring that the Fund’s future strategic direction is grounded in the realities and climate priorities of our partners.
The session objectives included the following:
- Raise awareness of strategic planning at the GCF: Introduce strategic planning at the Fund and the process for the development of the next Strategic Plan.
- Reflect on GCF’s current Strategic Plan: Exchange views on country experiences with and relevance of the GCF 2nd Updated Strategic Plan (2024-2027).
- Collect inputs for USP-3: Gather inputs on needs and priorities to inform GCF’s strategic direction, programming focus, and institutional priorities.
