High-level Pledging Conference for GCF's second replenishment (GCF-2)
05 Oct 2023
- 08:02 - 08:02 GMT
- Bonn, Germany
- By invitation only
The High-Level Pledging Conference is a key opportunity to demonstrate global commitment to achieve our collective climate ambitions. GCF is a critical element of the climate finance architecture, as part of the financial mechanism of the UNFCCC and in serving the Paris Agreement. GCF supports developing countries to respond to the climate crisis and transition to low-emission, climate-resilient pathways. GCF is a climate finance catalyzer, using its funds to accelerate green market creation and unlock larger financial flows from the private sector. A successful replenishment will allow GCF to invest more funds to create an enabling environment for climate action, driving systemic transitions in critical areas of global concern.
