Division of Country Programming will host the Transformational Climate Financing for the Caribbean Region​al Engagement, to be held as a virtual event on 1-5 March 2021.

This event will provide a platform for engagement with National Designated Authorities,  Accredited  Entities,  Delivery  Partners and other relevant GCF Stakeholders to improve access to and mobilization of urgently needed climate finance via development of innovative and transformation​al projects for a low-carbon and climate-resilient Caribbean.

The event aims to elaborate on the following primary topics: strengthening country ownership of programming in the region, targeting areas of high mitigation potential and adaptation needs, catalyzing private sector finance at scale, improving access to GCF resources and streamlining operational and institutional priorities.
