The Green Climate Fund (GCF) hosted two virtual sessions on Locally Led Climate Action as part of its ongoing series of Readiness Information Sessions. These sessions explored how locally led climate action (LLCA) is being championed through GCF programming—ensuring climate finance reaches those most vulnerable to climate impacts. The sessions focused on how the GCF Readiness Programme can be strategically leveraged to create an enabling environment for LLCA.

The sessions were conducted in English, with interpretation in Spanish and French to support inclusive participation across regions. They were open to representatives of National Designated Authorities (NDAs) and Direct Access Entities (DAEs) interested in scaling up LLCA through GCF support.

Session 1: 8:00–9:00 AM KST, Tuesday, 27 May 2025
For participants based in or working with pipelines in Latin America and the Caribbean, and Asia-Pacific region.

Session 2: 6:00–7:00 PM KST, Tuesday, 27 May 2025
For participants based in Africa, Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East.
