Following the adoption of a new accreditation framework in 2025, GCF is now implementing a strengthened and more fit-for-purpose system for accreditation. As part of this new framework, GCF has now opened one of two 2-month accreditation application windows for this year, which will last from this week until the end of March. 

For those interested in pursuing accreditation with GCF, the first step is Pre-screening, which is available year-round. 

Once pre-screening has been completed, the accreditation process operates on two cycles each year. Each cycle includes a two-month application window and a nine-month review period by the Secretariat and Accreditation Panel, excluding applicant response time.
