A vital Funded Activity Agreement (FAA) between Conservation International (CI) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF) has launched the Sustainable Landscapes Project in Eastern Madagascar.
CI is co-implementing this multi-million dollar project with the European Investment Bank investing in sustainable landscape measures to enhance resiliency of smallholder farmers and reduce green-house gas emissions in two key landscapes of eastern Madagascar.
This effort will mobilize both the public and private sector and prepare smallholders to ultimately access private sector capital, providing a pathway out of extreme vulnerability and dependency.
