GCF publishes the revised funding proposal schedule for B.24
At its twenty-first meeting, the GCF Board took a decision to manage remaining available resources from its Initial Resource Mobilization according to priorities set by prior Board decisions, balancing commitments and diversity among Accredited Entities, across regions and across results areas. As a result, GCF can only consider a limited number of new proposals during the remainder of 2019. The GCF Board has launched the Fund’s first replenishment process, which is expected to culminate with a pledging session towards the end of 2019, in anticipation that programming of funded activities under the first replenishment period will commence for 2020 and beyond. GCF welcomes new proposals to build a strong, country-driven pipeline for its activities beyond 2019, delivering paradigm shift towards low-emissions, climate-resilient development.
