Brussels Capital Region pledges €500,000 to GCF
The Brussels Capital Region pledged EUR 500,000 to the Green Climate Fund today.
Ms. Céline Fremault, Minister of Environment of the Brussels Capital Region, pledged EUR 500,000 to the Green Climate Fund today.
"Climate financing is a fundamental element for reaching an ambitious agreement,” stated Ms. Fremault. "Therefore, the Brussels Capital Region is pleased to contribute to the Green Climate Fund in 2015 with an amount of EUR 500,000, which is new and additional funding,” she said when visiting the GCF stand on the occasion of the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP 21) in Paris.
