GCF Global NDA Conference 2018

The Green Climate Fund is pleased to host the Global NDA Conference on 8-9 and 12 October, alongside the Private Investment for Climate Conference on 10-11 October in Incheon, South Korea. These events will allow both public and private sector participants to exchange ideas, hear from technology investors, and discuss climate investment opportunities — all in an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prepare countries to adequately address the climate challenges that their communities face.
The Global NDA Conference will bring together participants from all GCF National Designated Authorities and Focal Points, including high level government representatives, to help set the ambition and vision for the future of the Fund. Events during the week will strengthen engagement and strategic planning between countries and GCF, as well as introduce private investment opportunities to all stakeholders.
Participants will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences in accessing GCF through its diverse support programs, funding modalities, and development of project pipelines. Government officials will provide firsthand accounts of how GCF projects are being implemented in their countries, and GCF staff will be available to provide guidance and clarification on GCF processes and procedures.
The week will be an opportunity for all participants build relationships with the GCF Secretariat and with private sector participants.
