Enhancing the Resilience of Small Farmers against Climate Change impacts in Cauvery Delta Zone of Tamil Nadu

The Cauvery Delta Zone is a victim of the vagaries of several climate change impacts in the recent past. The project attempts to address specific problems faced by the small farmers through development, dissemination and capacity building in location-specific and crop specific climate smart agriculture practices along with support services to enable uptake and adoption of these practices. NABARD would be the AE and CABI would be the EE with TNAU as technical partner, government departments, NGOs, and farmer producer organisations as field implementing agencies. CABI,as the lead agency, will be responsible to implement the project with a due focus on managing environmental and social risks.
