Goal: Vanuatu possess the technical skills and supportive frameworks, systems, and adequate financial resources, to design, implement, coordinate, and monitor climate adaptation and resilience enhancing interventions, that are gender-sensitive and socially inclusive, across vital sectors of the economy.

The overall objectives of the proposal are to:

• Strengthen climate adaptation governance and technical capability for effective planning, execution, and coordination at the National and Provincial levels
• Produce evidence and devise plans for impactful adaptation responses across provinces and line departments
• Engage the private sector as a partner in climate adaptation responses
• Enhance capacity to access and deploy international and national climate finance
