The first GCF Structured Dialogue with Asia will be held in Bali, Indonesia, from 26 to 29 April 2017. The gathering will help increase the engagement and involvement of 30 countries in the region with the Green Climate Fund.

GCF Structured Dialogues are focused interactions involving GCF staff, members of the GCF Board, National Designated Authorities (NDAs) and focal points, Accredited Entities, and other country stakeholders.

They provide Partners with an opportunity to increase their understanding of the Fund and to further develop country and entity programmes. One main objective of GCF dialogues is to determine which priorities identified by country strategies are the best match for GCF support (e.g. INDCs, LEDS, NAPAs, NAMAs, etc.).

An important outcome of GCF’s Structured Dialogues is the articulation of regional programming roadmaps that identify trends and emerging priorities at the regional level.

The Asia Structured Dialogue is being organized in cooperation with the Indonesian government. It is by invitation only.
